How Things Go Down as a Project Manager
A typical day might entail:
Managing delivery of assigned projects by keeping track of scope, schedule and budget
Working with core client stakeholders to communicate effectively on project status
Identifying opportunities by working with the technical delivery teams so that we can continue to partner with our clients
Working on internal UDig projects
Helping the team decide our next 'proof of concept' initiative

Proven ability to effectively influence decision makers, win trust, present technical ideas and high-level concepts and solutions to audiences with varying degrees of technical knowledge?
Coordinating with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules
Facilitate project meetings to ensure alignment, identify risks, clarify scope and resolve issues.
Ensure project team is creating deliverables that adhere to our quality standards
Develop and present executive level status reports
Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
Create and monitor change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget
Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients
Identifying and developing new opportunities with clients
Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables
Managing customer satisfaction within project transition period
Conducting and documenting outputs of project retrospective
Prior experience as an Engagement Manager in the consulting industry
PMP and CSM certification preferred

More About the UDig Crew and Client Services Squad:
You will join our growing Client Services team to act as a trusted advisor in consulting with clients on their technical needs. As a Project Manager, you will work alongside our Software Engineering, Data Enablement and Advanced Insights team members to help provide the strategy, plans and execution of our customer engagements. We lean on our Client Services folks to foster trusted relationships and guide conversations with clients related to scope and risk, timelines, human resources, cost and procurement. We also rely on these team members to follow modern project methodologies like Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and SAFe. In addition to delivering on client expectations throughout engagements, this role will have a direct impact on the growth of UDig through various internal initiatives as appropriate.?
